One ChanceI stood on the road with my Elder. He urged further down the road. Down the road lay a fork. A fork in the road lay ahead. "Damned if I do, damned if I do not?" I asked. My Elder continued to urge me. Until I stood before two paths. Two Paths. And I said yes to myself, and "no" to my Elder. My Elder urged me to make my move. My two siblings had gone down the separate paths. I did not, yet I stepped forward. I stepped onto the very edge of the fork's point. I stepped off the road. I ventured between the Two Paths. The grass felt wonderful against my skin. One Chance
